The Craft Unit

SHAPING EQUALITY THROUGH CRAFT AND DECORATIVE ARTS

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE - WE ARE OPEN AND TAKING ORDERS!

ABOUT US

The Craft Unit is a not-for-profit platform showcasing unique craft and applied arts. It exists to support organisations that enable people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and those experiencing migration and settling issues to hone their skills and become Craftspeople.

The Craft Unit’s makers include people who have learning disabilities (including Down Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome etc.), autism, people facing migration and settling issues and people recovering from mental health conditions.

The organisations that we work with are located across the UK and Scandinavia. They support people to explore, develop and refine their craft.

Up to 60% of sales revenue goes back to these organisations and the people they support.
